Ellerbe says no Xylocaine for Floyd Mayweather
Mayweather vs Mosley
LA Boxing Examiner | Ricardo Lois
Going into the year's biggest fight, Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe made it very clear that Floyd Mayweather does not and has not used Xylocaine as a numbing agent to numb his once brittle hands.
This comes after reports citing a 2002 HBO Boxing segment which suggested that Mayweather used these drugs to aid in the treatment of his battered hands.
Floyd Mayweather fights Shane Mosley on May 1st in Las Vegas, Nevada with the action carried on HBO pay per view and in local theatres in the Los Angeles area.
