Floyd Mayweather has been continuing to puzzle, amuse and offend boxing fans the world over with his comments about various other fighters for some time now.

Over the last few weeks much of Mayweather's attention has been focused on Manny Pacquiao, and the fight between the two that fell to pieces. Often breaking into speeches about the fight without provocation

As provocative and inflammatory as his previous comments have been though, particularly likening himself to the leaders of the civil rights movement, his latest comments are a new low for Floyd Mayweather.

Rather than just trying to hype up a fight or even take pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao down a peg or two, this time Floyd has insinuated that foreigners are more likely to lie to the American public than American citizens.

Over the course of the past few weeks, Mayweather has referred to Pacquiao as ordinary, a performance enhancing drug user, and claims he is the bigger star and that Pacquiao is scared of him. He went on to say that he deserved the better endorsement deals than Pacquiao, and claimed that Nike only paid the Filipino star $75000. He also compared his effort to clean up the sport to the civil rights leaders Malcolm X and Martin Luther King. Not only this but he has now also claimed Pacquiao is a liar because he is a foreigner, which certainly isn't going to win him any new fans.

Pacquiao isn't the only fighter Mayweather has cast his critical eye over lately either, future opponent Shane Mosley is the latest fighter Floyd has turned his contradictory remarks against. In various interviews he has portrayed Mosley as a C-class old man desperate to scrape together a few dollars because of his recent divorce. Then often in the same interview he calls Shane a future hall of famer and claims that beating him will elevate himself above Manny Pacquiao. Clearly Floyd doesn't know whether to hype up or verbally dismantle his opponents.

Martin Klein, Pittsburgh PA: "Does Floyd Mayweather have some sort of mental problems? He keeps talking in the third person and making more and more odd comments"

It's beginning to sound like it, or at the very least he should hire someone to help him with his public speaking. You would think someone in Mayweather's entourage would warn him about saying things that are offensive, especially with his track record for blunders.

Phil Shaw, Pittsburgh PA: "Does Mayweather think foreign fighters just lie to Americans or that every fighter will only be truthful to their own countrymen?"

I doubt he thought it through that deeply Phil, he seems more determined to ruin Pacquiao's reputation more than anything else. If that means he has to discredit all foreign fighters making a living in the United States, then so be it. It goes to show just how deeply he has been affected by Pacquiao and the thought of losing the pay day he would have made.

Daniel Silva, Sao Paulo, Brazil: "Floyd Mayweather is a disgace to the sport with his hurtful and ill conceived talking. When will he learn no one will ever like him so long as he keeps saying these things"

Bernie Walker, Pittsburgh PA: "Floyd is right about Pacquiao, he lied about his steroid use, lied about why he pulled out of the fight and refused the tests and Floyd deserves the fans to get behind him about it"
