The fight might be far from happening but Manny Pacquiao is still on the minds of Boxing’s most controversial family, The Mayweathers. Over the last few days, several Mayweather family members have participated in interviews where they had harsh words for the PacMan. Let’s examine further.

“Shane would be tougher than that whatever over there that fights like a machine.” Floyd Mayweather Sr, Conference Call

Floyd Sr actually held back on his comments toward Manny. Apparently, he’s starting to realize that the defamation lawsuit against him could cause him some undesired legal consequences. I could only imagine how Floyd Sr squirmed around trying not to go on a vulgar tirade about Manny.

“I can’t say what Pacquiao’s done, but I know he didn’t want to take a 25 million dollar drug test.” Floyd Mayweather Jr, Fighthype.com

Floyd Jr has said plenty about what he thinks Manny has done. For him to continue to talk about Manny in the same breath as his fight with Shane only proves that he’s got a personal grudge against Manny. It’s gone beyond professional differences.

Jeff Mayweather interview with Secondsout.com

“If you’re not dirty, you step forward and be bold about the situation. You walk up there and prove you did nothing wrong instead of put up 101 smoke screens”.

I don’t see how Manny has put up any smoke screens. He said he would do the blood tests and negotiated on a cut-off date. How’s that being unwilling?

“Because Manny’s a damn fool if he’s not going to question you giving him something, and he doesn’t know what it is.”

Jeff was referring to Manny not knowing all the supplements he’s taking. I think Jeff is grasping at straws on this one because I cant see someome the caliber of Manny not asking what goes into his body.

“Right behind that, he says he’s scared of needles, and he has tattoos everywhere. I guess you must have been drunk when you got those tattoos, because you’re scared of needles.”

I’m scared of needles and I hate giving blood. I’m in the process of getting some ink done and I can guarantee I won’t be drunk when it happens because I don’t drink at all. Getting tattoos doesn’t mean you are over your fear of needles.

“If you don’t have anything to hide, you step up.”

If you don’t have proof of someone cheating, then why do they have to defend themselves toward false accusations?

Conclusion

Jamie Sanderson Sacramento, CA “Will the Mayweathers ever stop bashing Manny Pacquiao?”

Honestly, I don’t think they could stop even if they tried. They are a pack of jackals that will attack even without provocation or purpose. Part of the problem is that they seem to have their facts all wrong. They ignore when Manny says he would do the testing especially if the state athletic commission requires it.

My question is this: If the Mayweathers really want to clean up Boxing then why aren’t they publicly berating or vilifying the commissions as they do Pacquiao? Now, I could give some answers to my own question but I would like to see what you readers have to say. And lets keep racial and vulgar comments to a minimum.
